I just had my late and much needed dosage of AHC the other day. And let me say holy shit, AHC is bad ass... I really liked the war of art, but i admit it wasnt all that good. when i got my hands on this album, it blew me away. Its basically light years away from the war of art. I started the tracks with the ready to compare the two, but The Feeding is in another ballpark. With songs like A Violent Reaction, Never Get Caught, Just So You Know, and Breathe In, Bleed Out in TWoA, i was expecting more of the same thing.
The Feeding is basically War of Art and TONS more. For example Dirty, holy shit, everything is so chaotic but done so well that the pieces actually fit. Songs like these are abundant in the cd while others like Loyalty still holds the very same AHC sound that the fans remember with all the antigovernmental stuff mixed in. Punk in a sense but it isnt too invasive, songs that have that message arent to dependant of being antigovernment. Cock's vocal range has broadened to actual singing but again stays mainly with the formula and that formula kicks ass.
In terms of music, the others have evolved too. Its far more expansive than War of Art. there are songs that arent just angry, but deranged too. No song sounds the same at all. You can tell that high skill was involved, there is so much stuff going on that it can be overwhelming at times, BUT thats what AHC has been all about. and they pull it off so well to the point that you wouldnt mind your mind being ripped away for an hour.
GOOD SHIT. You see the clown with boobs on the cover and it says AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, PICK IT UP. Youll thank me later.

so im assuming i can also review this too then... ill do that here as well..... i bought this cd a while back.... in my opinion its just average... nothing to really hold my attention after Take What Ive Taken.... those are all really good songs... but as soon as that finishes... i cant help myself, i pop in another cd... i lost intrest after that song.... i dont know, maybe it was my "supposed" ADD kicking in or something, but i definetly wouldnt reccomend it as highly as syn does..... 6/10

Hrm... okay. I have The Art Of War and Trepanation. Both are awesome, but I don't have this... The Feeding you speak of.

I got the Feeding like 6 months ago. Listened to it once. Fxking boring, War of Art is a million times better. The guitarist took something good with him when he bit it. End.

Bryan passed on. Im not sure why you think that it almost cause the badn to break up. If anyone, the goddamn bassist and singer have pissed off everyone whos been in the group ni the laft five years to the point of quitting. Theyre fucking themselves over.
