Moving to Cleveland!? But they're my favorite Florida band. Will they still play as many shows down here as they used to or are they just gonna play Cleveland all the time? What is the main purpose for them moving to Ohio? Record label, venues, money, Mushroomhead? Is it going to get the full-length New Slave Nation out quicker? When Mushroomhead gets on a label Crossbreed should be on it with them. I'm pretty sure I answered your question in my earlier post. They have more locations to play at if they are based out of Ohio rather than Florida. I know they get along with Mushroomhead really well but I doubt they would relocate primarily to be closer to a band they get along with. As far as shows in Florida...yea, you won't be seeing them as much down there as you use to. At least they will still be on the eastern half of the country. The people in California are still pretty much screwed. About that green paper airplane: Yep, I remember it being stuck in some prop. Actually, someone in one of the bands took it and tried to throw it in the audience at the end of their set. I can't remember who it was but that plane sure as hell couldn't fly worth a shit.

so umm... when did we lose all our venues? did you know that the St. Pete Times Forum in tampa, fl is one of the top ten venues in the world? all i'm saying is that there are not more venues, just different ones and being based out of florida doesn't limit what states you can play in... anyway, awesome for them... i think this is a good opportunity to build their fan base more since fl is pretty well covered... their last move was helpful for them when they went to NY, so this should turn out well too...

It'd be nice if the band would give us some official news post or something to clear up all the fact from bullshit. Comeone Crossbreed it takes 10 minutes at the most to type up a half of page to tell the fans what's going on.

with all the things that have been said they'd do then didn't happen (NSN release...), they are probably waiting until it's in stone to say anything... not to mention, most news is leaked by fans that have spoken with the band and is either the truth or blown out of proportion. the only question here is are they moving, which really doesn't matter.
Also, "not to mention" is a really stupid thing to say before mentioning what is "not to mention"... I'm not sure why I say that...

I can't remember who it was but that plane sure as hell couldn't fly worth a shit. The airplane was made by me and my friend. We threw it into the crowd then they threw it over the stage and it got stuck. I know after Mushroomhead they made orange planes and it didn't fly much at all.

Well, Travis' cell-phone is never on anymore... hopefully we can get him to fill us in. I'll keep trying.

When I said "locations" I wasn't talking about venues. I'm talking about different markets to play at - meaning more opportunities to play to different fans. I'm not very familiar with the big markets around Florida, but from the way the guys were talking about it, they'll have A LOT more opportunities to play in different cities when they are based out of Cleveland. Just look at the facts of the two states: 3 of Florida's 4 borders are WATER. East of Cleveland they could play Pittsburgh, Phily and possibly New York, West of Cleveland they could play Toledo, Detroit and Chicago and South they could play Columbus, Cinici, etc. Regardless, my point isn't to argue about why they should or should not move or how many venues Florida has. I'm simply restating what I was told from several of the guys. If you want to talk facts, James said on stage that Crossbreed was the "newest local band in town" and that we (the people at the show) would be seeing a lot more of them in the future. You can ask anyone at the Cleveland show and they'll tell you the same.

it just seemed to me you were, so i spoke about it... wasn't trying to argue with you either and i thought i did well to make sure it didn't seem that way... guess not, sorry man... i really don't care to ask anyone about anything said at any show... things have been said at shows that happen, and things have been said that don't, so i just sit back and watch it all happen (or not happen) and not expect anything but damn good music.

That show was the shit! I finally got to pop my Crossbreed, Live Cherry and they surpassed even my high expectations! The new material was absolutely amazing live. It's nice to see that the spectacle is still alive onstage.
I couldn't be more stoked that they're moving to Cleveland because I'll be able to see them a lot more. There's nothing like going home from a show with your throat a mess from singing every word. Not only that, but hopefully that means more shows with Mushroomhead. Anyone else agree with me that they complement eachother rather well?
