If crossbreed got a little softer and adhered more to the whims of "teenagers" (the whole cliched shit about depression, angst, rebellion blah blah blah) then its there.

I love Deadstar Assembly - I saw them at Hard Rock Live Sept 30 with Irrational, Indorphine, 5 Billion Dead and Hope & Suicide. Deadstar was 3rd to play. After they played and Indorphine started to play the whole band came out and signed shit and hung out with the fans. This was my girlfriend's first concert and she was blown away. It was my 6th concert. I got my DSA cd cover signed by the whole band. MuBo is cool as fuck. I told him how I wanted to see them and Crossbreed play together. He told me that DSA and Crossbreed were like brothers and the would like to play with them again. We talked about when the new album comes out (end of October btw). Me and Dearborn went outside to get some fresh air and we talked about their new music and how I stumbled across DSA. Crossbreed and DSA are my 2 fav bands right now. Dammit Crossbreed update sometime.

No offense, but the only thing that bothers me about bands like DSA is their overdone appearance. ...though I don't let a band's appearance stop me from listening to the music if it's what I like.

i agree with divine, i downloaded Send Me An Angel viddie, seeing as how its the only downloadable peice of audio/video on their website and everyone has been raving about how amazing they are. the music itself seems a bit more trippy and less down to earth then crossbreeds.

The only thing I didn't much care about them was that they depend on the voice-masking stuff too much. His voice gets too distorted for my taste.

so... Crossbreed's appearance isn't "over done"? their makeup alone probably takes more time than DSA's entire shit... not to mention it has to be done in the dark under a hot-ass black light...
Art> check out their vid for "Breathe For Me"... that's their own thing... Send Me An Angel is a remake and while they made it sound as their own, the stuff they've written is much better...

The thing about DSA is though, their apperance fits into the 'Hot Topic goth' category. Like you could just imagine this person walking all day at an amusement park or something and whoever they're with just kicking their ass to hell over the jingling noise of all their fucking pocketless zippers and dogtags and baby pins and whatever the fuck else they have dangling about them.

ps breathe for me vid fucking sucks. The song sucks too, worst one. Pretty much every other song on the album is better. I have the first 3 or 4 off the new one so far, all but the mediocre last one are good

Breathe For Me definately sucks. And there appearance NOW is overdone. I like the look they had when they first started the Unsaved era if thats what you want to call it. It looked more heavy and whatnot. They look more like something chicks would be into now. Trying to appeal to the ladies. "Oh my freaking God they'r so hott!!" Fuck that.

I liked Darborn's spikes in the Send Me an Angel video.
