MySpace is one of the greatest tools known to man. Just think how different music today would be if Jimmy Page, John Lennon and Arlo Guthrie had been communicating on AIM and posting on eachother's blogs.

haha, god wed either be dead because everyone got so emo they killed themselves or just fucked in general. MP3.com before it went gay, was actually so much better for music compared to myspace... myspace = Music + bullshit^infinity... sorta like digging through someones shit just to get a piece of gold somewhere... someone should jsut fucking start a music site

mp3.com was better for music, but soundclick was even better. nothing has quite the community as myspace though, not even livejournal. sure it's pretty gay most of the time, but that's because people are gay.

That's how MySpace started though, wasn't it? Just for bands and stuff? I remember going on there to check out some Canadian indie band that really kicked ass. Then all of a sudden there was a huge surgance of jerkoffs using it to post their idiotic "^_^ SO HAPPY ^_^" blogs about their stupid meaningless lives.

Megaforce Records has set a September 19 release date for the new MUSHROOMHEAD album, entitled "Savior Sorrow". It was produced in April 2006 by drummer Steve "Skinny" Felton and MUSHROOMHEAD at Cleveland's Filthy Hands Studios.
Commented Felton: "It's a new chapter in MUSHROOMHEAD's evolution. There are sounds on this album that sound so brutal and huge. We focused on delivering some vicious hardcore mixed with heavy melodic hooks. Lyrically, it definitely reflects where the world is at this moment in time."
The album's first single will hit radio in mid-August. The band will begin a world tour starting September 12, 2006.
As previously reported, a demo version of a new MUSHROOMHEAD track, entitled "Burn", was included on a FYE sampler which was given away last month exclusively with the purchase of two qualifying CDs at FYE stores. It was limited to 25, 000 copies and was done in conjunction with Decibel magazine. More information is available at this location.
MUSHROOMHEAD's follow-up to 2003's "XIII" (Republic/Universal) will mark the group's recording debut with singer Waylon, who replaced frontman J. Mann in 2004.
I would post the song listing for the new CD, but I can't find it. Thought I should update with MRH news.
