wait... cant i just copy the songs onto it.... from cds and shit?.... i got the 20gb one(ha!).. but cant touch it till xmas....
sigh... i guess ill just sort of wait it out.....
oh, and syn i think usually when factories make shit... they fuck up at least 1/2 of it... so it dies quickly... that happened to me with the last cd player i bought... it broke in a day.. and i got another (refund!) and it broke in a week... and i got another(exchange!) and then that broke at the end of the month and now i finally have a working cd player... the people at wal mart are nice about broken cd players....it wasnt my fault either.....

Not that I've found, but that's what iTunes is so good about. Pop in your cd, import it to your harddrive and it'll automatically add the tracks to your iTunes... plug in your iPod, select and drag them to the iPod.
Easy stuff unless you're me. I like to have all my tracks listed easily in the folders, so I don't like how it saves the filenames. It saves them like "01 Before I Die", but I prefer it to be like "Mushroomhead - 01 - Before I Die", so I go through and change them all, then re-add it to my iTunes Library. I'm kinda fickle that way.

That, I don't know. I never use Media Player unless it's for por... I mean... music video's if they're .avi files.
But iTunes is really cool for me, 'cause you can snag album art off of Amazon.com and store them into the ID3 tag, edit the ID3 tags, add lyrics... it's really sweet to me. I've been using it since it came out for the PC.

They "require" you to have broadband for the download? That's news to me... if you wanna give it a shot, hit me up on AIM. I can send it to you if you wanna wait through 6megs of phone time, heh.
If not, your iPod should come with a software disc that has iTunes on it.

hey xburner if you want your files labled correctly (the way you want it at least) use media monkey, you can even put bitrate, album name, year, and all that other shit. you can also get it to sync with your ipod or mp3 player in (has a lot of choiced for file type conversion)

If you are going to look at porn, don't do it on my pc. I have sub-dial-up. So it's like, "UNNHHH, UN-N-N-N-N-N-N-Nhhhh, unh, unh, UNHHHH, Uuuuuuu-u-u-u-u-uu---------------------unh."
Get it? Got it? Good.
Oh yeah, and how come I haven't seen (3000 miles to Graceland) before? That movie kicks ass and has a Spinehshank track in it at the end =)

People that are still suffering on dial-up make me sad. I hated being on dial-up when there wasn't even cable.
...and yes, 3,000 Miles To Graceland is an awesome movie with lots o'killin' in it. Kevin Costner is an awesome villian, too.
