Just my luck, I'll be the only one who's a Godhead addict, but they were the band who got me into Crossbreed so I think I have a right to put them up. I went to a show where Godhead and Crossbreed supported Rammstein back in '01. Although I liked Rammstein, I was really going for Godhead and ended up LOVING Crossbreed (didn't have any idea who they were at the time). Anyway, Godhead is a four piece that originally started as a more industrial-like band, but is now more of a mainstream alt-rock/metal band. Although they've evolved quite a bit, the sounds are still amazing! I think their changes have helped them grow more as musicians: they don't need the extras to show that they're a great band. The thing that I really love about them is the flawless harmonies. The lyrics are great and all of the intruments blend extremely well. Check them out: www.godhead.com

I loved their 2,000 Years Of Human Error album, but then with Evolver, I didn't get into it near as much. I went ahead out on release day and bought Shadowline (with the DVD hehe!) and it does as much for me as Evolver did. I don't know... I'm mixed on them. I'd give them a 5 of 10 if I had to, 'cause they showcased their potential in the beginning, then tried to go mainstream it seems. While they have some great "single" making skills... the rest just aren't as good to me. But they're a decent band, yes.
