MSI is the finest example of why you should want to remain underground. The biggest band in the world just about, but they don't show their faces on MTV so their fans still think they're somehow special. They stand to lose so much money if they sellout.
You can always just be cool like Crossbreed and have an ad for your album printed on the back cover of the program for the outdoor festival event, and stay home in the a.c. That's what heavy metal is: air conditioning.
