Come on, everyone has to be some sort of fan of at least one of the Final Fantasy series. Mine, personally, would have to be 7. Probably one of the best battle systems in the game i've ever seen. Heck, good enough for them to come out with a movie, revolving on the future of the game, a game revolving around one of the characters, and a mini-movie coming out soon for the PsP.
Whats your fav-o out of the Final Fantasy series?

i've only played 7's Dirge of Cerberus, 9, X, and X-2... all are great... so was the mini movie for 7 and I wish that Cloud had a larger role in Dirge, or even any of the rest of the team...

OK all of you newbs need to stop talking about how you have a favorite Final Fantasy unless you have played the first 3. You cant get into a series at V 7.0 and give me your opinion about the best the series has to offer. So take some advice from somone that has played all of them and go buy your self a SNES or an emulator or WTF ever and play Final Fantasy III so that you all might understand how the series has gone so drasticly down hill!!! While your at it you can pick up a NES and play some Dragon Warrior and get an understanding for the game that Square ripped off to make your beloved over publicized teribly average series...
(No offense was intended during the typing of this rant)

don't lie... either you meant offense or someone pissed in your wheaties. it wasn't me, so let me tell you just how wrong you were. ONE. i am the only one who replied to this before you and i never once said that any new one was the best out of all of them, all i said was which i've played and that i thought they all were "great". TWO. xxtheenlsavedxx's PERSONAL favorite was 7 and never mentioned how many of the series he has played. My girlfriend's favorite is also 7 and she has played all up to X-2. THREE. I couldn't care less if Final Fantasy is a rip-off from an NES game because I like the game itself... Here's a thought: I'll throw away my Just Cause PC game because it's way too similar to Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto... I'll also throw out my Rise of Nations and Age of Mythology because they are too similar to Age of Empires. I should throw out my Crash Team Racing because it's too much like Mario Kart, and my Crash Bandicoot because it's too much like Super Mario Brothers. I should delete my tetris game because it's too much like Bricks on my Atari system. Are you catching on here? There is no such thing as an original game anymore, just like movies it's all an old idea with a new look.

I've played I, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X. My personal favorites are VI and VII. I can't wait for III to come out for the DS it will be cool to finally be able to play a version of that game in this country that isn't a fan translated rom.

twice? lol... sorry, i just found your reply there to be a little bitchy and unwarranted... and perhaps someone pissed in my wheaties too... ...what, just now? LOL LOL Yeah It wasn't really directed at you!!! It was directed at the large number of clones that have become Final Fantasy "Die Hard Fans" since there gaming existance began on the Playstation. Don't get me wrong most of the games are good but not very inovative unfortunatly no one seems to remember the days when gaming experiences could be original. It still happens every once in a while but the corporate control of the industry force feeds all of us 10,000 copy cat games of one succesful original Idea because they are expecting that 'Genre' to make money regaurdless of whether or not it is any fun. To all of the video game corporate assholes out there 8=======> Suck on this
